Each bracelet has been designed by Oriana to honor the color and meaning behind each organization it has been dedicated to. Oriana donates proceeds from the sale of each bracelet to the organization in an effort to raise funds and awareness for that specific organization.

Catherine and Oriana Lamarca are a mother-daughter entrepreneurial dynamic duo. The pair launched their Holiday Shopping Soirée and Fundraiser as a means to allow their customers to have access to touch and feel their products first hand all while helping to support the local community that had supported them. “There are so many fundraisers during the holiday season and as much as I love to give back, I always felt that the donations may end up in a black hole. My mission is to bring my customers face to face with the organization or family that they are helping” ~ Oriana

When designing the Armcandy for a Cause bracelet to benefit those affected by the wildfires in California, Oriana chose the red howlite bead as a symbol of strength and resilience. Red, a powerful and passionate color, represents the unwavering courage of the communities affected by these devastating events. The fiery hue echoes both the intensity of the wildfires and the indomitable spirit of those who rise from the ashes to rebuild their lives.

The howlite stone, known for its calming properties, complements the boldness of red, signifying balance and hope amidst chaos. By pairing these elements, Oriana created a meaningful piece that embodies not only the struggles faced by these communities but also the strength and solidarity of those coming together to support them. Each bracelet is a reminder that even in the face of devastation, resilience shines through.

The bracelet is adorned with a Pavé Rainbow charm and an “I❤️LA” / California state charm. The rainbow symbolizes beauty and hope after the storm and serves as a reminder that even after the darkest moments, light and renewal can emerge. It was such an honor to work with @randilweiss on not only an Armcandy for a cause bracelet but and entire Armparty where a portion of the proceeds go to the FACES foundation for CDKL5 research. We loved seeing this stunning article. Grab your Armcandy and support the incredible cause.

In February of 2023, a beautiful little girl, Emilia Lun (aka Emi) was diagnosed with Stage IV High Risk Neuroblastoma. Over the past year+ she has gone through grueling treatment such as chemotherapy, resection surgery, radiation, immunotherapy and most recently, more treatment for her relapse. Her mother who happens to have family from the same region in Sicily as @orianalamarca , has made it her mission to fight not only for Emi but other children currently facing this awful disease. Although there is still a long road ahead, Emi recently received clear scans! However, with a day by day approach, the Lun family celebrates every victory against such a heart wrenching disease. 

In honor of Emi, @orianalamarcadesigns will be donating $25 from each bracelet to an organization the Band of Parents, a grassroots non-profit organization that finances innovative clinical trials for neuroblastoma. This organization has become an organization near and dear to Emi’s family. With an increasing survival rate for this type of childhood cancer they are officially giving children like Emi a chance!

Williams Syndrome is a rare, complex, multi system genetic deletion along chromosome #7. This disease presents itself at birth causing medical problems such as life threatening cardiovascular disease, developmental delays and learning disabilities. There is no cure or medication and a lack of research surrounding WS. Anthony Filippazzo, a young, kind, bright and musically talented Child suffers from this disease since the day he was born. As in true warrior style he has never let this stop him. Everywhere he goes, there is a smile on his face. Anthony’s love, passion and ambition has inspired his family, specifically his Mother, Camille and Father Stefano to dedicate their lives to change the outcome of this disease. They have spent the past 10 years working diligently to help fund research and find a cure for Anthony and the many lives Williams Syndrome has affected.

Update on Rocco❤️

Today was a great day—Rocco’s labs were rock solid! 🙏🏼👏🏼 No transfusions needed, and we now have a well-deserved two-week break before starting Cycle 2 of IT Dinutux on July 8th.

Over the next two weeks, our goal is to get Rocco eating more and gaining some weight. His hair is starting to grow back, and he’s thrilled about it. It broke my heart when he asked if his hair growing back means he won’t have to return to Sloan once he turns 7 on November 3rd. I wish I had the answer, but I promised him that we’ll do everything we can to ensure he gets better and never has to go through this again.

Today, we finally got to meet the beautiful Riley (@ychan33) and saw the adorable Hazel (@alexrae1 ). We missed seeing our friends @jojo.strong and Luke, @kksworld . The bond we share with other families who truly understand what it’s like having a child in the fight of their life is unique and irreplaceable. We never stop praying for each and every one of them.

At just 6 years old, he is fighting the strongest fight to kick c*ncers a$$👊🏼👊🏼 At 2 years old, Rocco DiMaggio was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer, a diagnosis that would cripple any human being let alone a 2 year old. But just as his moniker “Rocco Strong” suggests, Rocco’s strength and resilience is nothing short of a Superhero. He beat cancers butt but 4 years later he is faced with a fight once again.

I have never met Rocco in person but watching his journey through social media, I have felt a piece of my heart share his diagnosis and his victories. His mother’s strength to tell his story so beautifully has truly moved me to tears several times. To watch his little body go thru treatments and surgeries and see him smiling and putting legos together is something only a true Superhero can do!

Since I started my initiative @armcandyforacause_ I have met so many incredible men and women of all ages who are battling but are actually serving bigger purpose in changing the lives of those around them. And Rocco has already proven to have made an impact on so many who love and support him❤️

Leonardo DiMarco has been fighting Sinonasal Carcinoma with neuroendocrine and central nervous system cancer since 2018. He faced his first surgery in October of 2018 and radiation in January of 2019. He was cleared of cancer only to have it reoccur and metastasized to Stage 4. Leonardo and his wife Josephine met in Leonardo’s Hometown of Borgetto, Sicily. San Giuseppe is highly honored and admired in the little town of Borgetto. The color Burgundy also represents and honors those suffering from Sinonasal Carcinoma.Therefore, we have created our Marsala Jade with St Joseph pendant and a men’s version with the Pyrite Cross bracelet in support of Leonardo’s Strength, resilience and adoration of his family and strong heritage. He is Leonardo Strong!

The Wonder Woman Warrior Armparty including the LAPIS “CDKL5” WITH PAVÉ WARRIOR PENDANT has been designed to represent the fiercest little girl we know! Diagnosed with CDKL5 deficiency, Madison is a true warrior as she navigates life in the face of adversity.

The CDKL5 Gene tells the body how to make a specific protein needed for proper brain development. A CDKL5 deficiency disorder is a rare X-linked genetic disorder resulting in seizures that begin within the first months of life. These seizures cause severe delays in the child’s development.

Although affected by this rare disorder, her mother Randi, has helped instill strength and resilience within her to now shine brighter than all the stars in the galaxy! Oriana worked closely with Randi to design a bracelet that would not only represent Madison but all of the “warriors” out there. Blue Lapis is associated with strength, courage, wisdom, intellect, friendship and truth which is why we knew it was the perfect color to pair with our pavé “warrior” charm.

All proceeds from the sale of this bracelet will be donated directly to NYU Langone “FACES” in an effort to help find a cure for epilepsy while providing exceptional clinical care, education, awareness and support to all who are in their care.
